I've created a 3D block out for a small dungeon within a larger world. To give the impression of a vast space, I designed a massive canyon for the dungeon, even though the player's actual movement area is relatively small, resulting in the feeling of scale.

This dungeon is themed around dirt, fitting its name, "Lutums Dungeon" (Latin for dirt dungeon). It's part of a larger world with more dungeons and quests, including water, fire, and wind themes. This variety allows players to encounter new enemies and environments, ensuring the game stays engaging without becoming repetitive.

The final design for Lutums Dungeon consists of several interconnected areas in a linear layout, providing players with a straightforward path. The dungeon appears large in scale, but the playable areas are relatively small, creating the illusion of a larger space.

The primary goal is to make the dungeon quick to navigate but challenging to complete. It serves as a tutorial for players, preparing them for more formidable challenges in the game world.

Enemy

(Magnus turtur scorpii)

The Magnus turtur scorpii is the native monster/enemy within the dirt region and will be prominent throughout the dungeon. The crab-turtle scorpion hybrid creature creates a scary-looking enemy which the player would have to defeat, known for its speed, the player will have to stay on top of their game to avoid the quick attacks.
